I had the pleasure to present my work titled “Representative Synthetic Data for Fair Decision Making” at the Nordic Young Researchers Symposium which held in Norrökping, Sweden on 26-27 November, 2025.

I had my close-to-the-final seminar of my PhD studies. I am working on Fair Decision Making process using Synthetic data and Fair representation. Beside this, I am also working on Time-Series Generative Models.

Our paper titled Promoting Intersectional Fairness through Knowledge Distillation has been accepted at European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI), Bologna, 2025. In this paper, we used Knowledge distillation to handle intersectional bias in decision making process.

I had the pleasure to attend the International Conference on Learning Represenataions (ICLR) 2025, in Signapore. It’s a A* (flagship conference) level conference and I had the opportunity to talk with remarkable researchers in the AI field.

Our team (LiU-AI) become champion at the Sweden’s largest AI hackathon - Hackaping in the Employee scheduling catergory. We developed a solution to aid the scheduling of employee using various strategy including automating the system with AI.
